The line-up for this year’s Margaret River Gourmet Escape – a premium food and wine event in Western Australia – has been announced, with nationally and internationally acclaimed food and wine personalities set to convene in the Margaret River region for the festival’s fifth anniversary year.
Television chef and best-selling cookbook author Nigella Lawson joins the festival as one of the international headline guests for 2016, which also includes a selection of chefs from the World’s Best 50 Restaurants.

Prominent names on the schedule include UK restaurateur Rick Stein, who has Rick Stein at Bannisters in Mollymook, NSW; David Thompson, of acclaimed Bangkok restaurant Nahm and Long Chim in Singapore and Perth; Ashley Palmer-Watts of Dinner by Heston Blumenthal; and Dominique Crenn, of Atelier Crenn & Petit Crenn in San Francisco.
Australian-based guests include Mark Best of pei modern in Sydney and Melbourne; Analiese Gregory of Bar Brosé in Sydney; Nelly Robinson from nel, Sydney; Peter Gilmore, of Sydney’s Quay; Frank Camorra of Melbourne’s MoVida; and Guillaume Brahimi from Guillaume, Sydney and Bistro Guillaume, Perth.

A selection of signature events for wine and food lovers include the Audi Gourmet Beach BBQ, Feast in the Forest, as well as showcase dinners, masterclasses and demonstrations. Audi is a presenting partner of the festival.
