Mandarin Oriental, Milan has announced a new Lake Como Luxury Vintage Experience Package that takes guests on a bespoke day journey north of Milan to Lake Como.
The trip starts with a one-hour drive north in a vintage Ferrari Dino 246 GT Gallettoni. While guests wind through Italy’s picturesque countryside, a personal assistant driver follows behind in a separate vehicle to provide car services on an on-call basis and ensure a smooth experience.
Upon arrival at Lake Como, guests board a Riva Aquarama speedboat for a private three-hour cruise complete with champagne and canapés. For lunch, the hotel’s concierge can recommend a selection of lakeside restaurants and arrange reservations.
Guests can customise their trip and change the lake destination, car model, duration of the drive and boat tour and request an additional trip to Lake Maggiore.
The Lake Como Luxury Vintage Experience is available until 30 September 2017 and starts from €5,100 (about A$7,400) per room per night. The basic package includes suite accommodation for a minimum of two nights at the Mandarin Oriental, Milan, one-way airport transfer, daily breakfast at Mandarin Bar & Bistro, a 90-minute self-drive in a Ferrari, a personalised road trip itinerary and assistant providing valet, car wash, refuelling, and technical services, three-hour boat tour with refreshments, and a 10 per cent discount on treatments at The Spa at Mandarin Oriental, Milan.
