Medieval Tuscan Villa to open a new spa and wellness centre

Tucked away in the Tuscan countryside is Borgo Pignano, an 18th century villa set on a 750-acre organic estate in a hamlet that dates back to Etruscan times. The historic villa has recently announced that it will be unveiling a new Spa and Wellness centre in April this year.

The design of the spa will showcase the building’s ancient architecture, with treatments inspired by the lush natural surrounds. Wellbeing therapies will be specially created using organic ingredients grown on the estate, and a trained herbalist will work on-site using herbs, flowers, plant extracts and oils to boost guests’ physical and mental health. The medieval-era building will also house a dry sauna and steam bath, a spa lounge and a double wellness suite where guests can receive a range of health, beauty and relaxation treatments.
