New-look airline launched

The newly rebranded LATAM Airlines launched in Australia this week, bringing together the company’s two South American airlines, LAN and TAM. New livery, airport facility designs, and staff uniforms were unveiled at the airline’s Oceania launch celebration at the Sydney Tower Eye.

LATAM Airlines Group’s managing director Patricio Aylwin said, “We are celebrating the dream of two leading airlines – LAN and TAM, coming together as one for an incredible new journey as LATAM Airlines”.

New coral and indigo uniforms were on show, designed by Brazilian fashion designer Pedro Lourenço to complement the colours on LATAM’s new livery. LATAM is expecting to rebrand more than 50 aircraft by the end of 2016, with the process finalised across the entire fleet by 2018.
