Revamped Ritz glitz in Paris

After a four-year, multimillion-dollar restoration, the iconic Ritz Paris reopened its doors in June 2016 to showcase a classically elegant yet modernised new look.

While retaining its 18th-century grandeur, the property has updated its infrastructure and technology, as well as introducing a 50:50 room-to-suite ratio. There are 15 new “Prestige Suites”, named for the famed writers, designers and nobility who have all been guests of, or lived at, the property during its significant tenure as Paris’ premier hotel.

The Coco Chanel Suite

A chic highlight of the restoration, the 188-square-metre suite is named for the French fashion designer who lived at Ritz Paris for 34 years. Ritz Paris has also introduced the world’s first and only Chanel spa.
