Sir Adam Hotel opens in Amsterdam

Sir Adam hotel has recently opened in the newly renovated A’DAM Toren tower in Amsterdam. Previously known as the Toren Overhoeks, the tower has been redeveloped and is now home to a nightclub, restaurants, bars and a number of pioneering music companies. The design of Sir Adam embraces the original structure of the tower with stripped back interiors including exposed concrete pillars and ceilings.

“Sir Adam is like Amsterdam: cool, edgy, creative, culturally-rich, a little off-beat— but always interesting,” says Liran Wizman, CEO of Europe Hotels Private Collection. The 108 rooms, designed by ICRAVE, include a selection of works by local artists, custom-made furniture and bathrooms with calacatta tiles, rainfall showers and DEAD CLEAN amenities as well as a number of quirky features inspired by the music industry such as song lyrics etched into mirrors.

Guests can visit Sir Adam’s answer to the hotel lobby, The Butcher Social Club, which includes a gourmet burger restaurant, an island bar with a live DJ, game tables and a mobile bar. The hotel’s bar is a Beergarden, accessible by a spiral staircase up to the rooftop, which serves craft beers among lush greenery with views over the city.
