ABOUT THE HOTEL

Situated in the chic Harbor East Waterfront precinct, this hotel delivers all the service and facilities one expects from the Four Seasons brand, making the Baltimore of the TV series The Wire seems a thousand miles away.

THE SUITE EXPERIENCE

It has the feel of fantasy apartment living. Walls of floor-to-ceiling windows, aswell as a terrace the full length of the suite, make for bright harbour and city views by day and a romantic blanket of stars and lights by night. The lounge and dining rooms feature hardwood floors, a built-in fireplace and elegant furnishings. Each room comfortably seats eight, and the pantry kitchen and guest bathroom make entertaining easy. The master bathroom and dressing room are both huge and beautifully appointed.

DINING

PABU has been hailed as Baltimore’s leading Japanese restaurant. Wit and Wisdom, a tavern-style comfort food destination has recently been reinvigorated by the appointment of Clayton Miller, whose track record includes stints at America’s top restaurant, French Laundry, and with Atlanta’s maestro chef, Guenther Seeger.

SPA

A large, fully equipped gym and outdoor pool complement a generously appointed spa, with unexpected amenities including an Aroma Steam Room, a Tea Lounge, and B. Kamins cosmeceuticaskin treatments.

IF YOU’D LIKE TO UPGRADE

The Presidential Suites on the top floors offer amazing views from the bed, and at 261 square metres, they have ample room for entertaining a dozen people in style. US$10,000 (about A$9,695) per night.

INSIDER TIP

The best restaurant in town, Cindy Wolf’s Charleston, is only a short walk from the hotel, but in the case of snow too deep or stilettos too steep for walking, the hotel will provide a car.
