The Byron at Byron Resort announces three new retreats for 2017

Luxury rainforest resort The Byron at Byron has announced three new specialised retreats that will allow guests to either reconnect with their artistic side, put their body through a wellness bootcamp or learn to surf with some of Australia’s most experienced surf coaches.

Art lovers can reconnect with their creative side by turning off their technology and immersing themselves in the natural surrounds during the Vivid Tours International Art Retreat. The art retreat includes three nights’ accommodation, two days of art tuition and supplies, a daily yoga class, and a light and healthy breakfast and lunch daily.

Those looking to improve their physical wellness can opt for the Barre Body Wellness Retreat, a two-day body wellness mini break that combines yoga, barre, and massage. The package includes four Barre sessions with Emma Seibold, daily morning yoga, a relaxation or remedial massage, daily breakfast and lunch and a welcome dinner as well as two nights’ accommodation.

With classes run by two of Australia’s most experienced female surf coaches, Jenny Boggis and Serena Adams, the Surfing Retreat can teach beginners the fundamentals of surfing or help experienced surfers improve their skills. As well as four surf-coaching sessions, guests will receive three meals a day, one massage, a daily private group yoga session, a walking tour of Cape Byron Headland and Lighthouse, welcome gifts and drinks and complimentary transport into Byron township as well as five nights’ accommodation.
