The new Four Seasons Jakarta

Four Seasons has opened a new luxury suite-only property in Jakarta’s business district as a part of the rapidly expanding Capital Place. Exclusively made up of 125 suites, this new property takes cues from Indonesian tradition and modern luxury, blending classically designed interiors with details intended to accentuate Jakarta’s natural beauty.

Architecture designed by César Pelli creates bright spaces, thanks largely to the wall-to-wall windows that line each suite. The décor of the suites themselves is the work of award-winning, New York-based interior designer Alexandra Champalimaud. A luxurious spa, fitness centre and an outdoor pool with a landscaped terrace complete the property.

All the suites are designed to accommodate three people, though the sizes range from the 62 square-metre Executive Suites to the 330 square-metre Presidential Suite.

The Executive Suites offer relaxed interiors with classic wooden furniture in the living and bedrooms, while a full marble bathroom completes the luxurious space. The Deluxe Executive Suites provide direct access to the Capital Palace office tower, ideal for getting to business meetings.

Further luxury is offered in three more suite styles including the corner Premier Suites, which have wrap-around windows for sweeping views of the city. The Presidential and Ambassador Suites occupy the majority of the nineteenth floor of the hotel. With space not only to sleep and lounge, but also to entertain and dine, these suites create a feeling of a luxurious home in Jakarta. Small details, like crystal chandeliers, select Indonesian art on display and canopy beds in the master bedrooms, prove Champalimaud’s careful eye for luxury.

Rates start at IDR4,420,000 (about AU$452) a night for an Executive Suite with one king bed.
