Vivid Festival at InterContinental Sydney

The InterContinental Sydney has announced a line-up of culinary events to celebrate Vivid festival, including a pop-up laneway.

The hotel’s level 32 rooftop bar Supper Club will be offering a Vivid-inspired cocktail package between 8pm and 9.30pm every evening throughout Vivid. With uninterrupted views across the illuminated Sydney Harbour Bridge and the Opera House, the Supper Club makes an excellent place to view the festival from above. The ‘Celebration of Colour’ package includes a trio of mini cocktails at A$50 per person.

Award-winning restaurant 117 Dining will be running InterContinental Sydney Laneway, a pop-up restaurant on Macquarie Street serving a Vivid-inspired three course menu. Dishes include blow-torched salmon, Taj Ima Wagyu rump and sake-cured Pacific Reef cobia, followed by a ‘De-light-ful’ signature dessert. Each course will be paired with wines from Bimbadgen Winery. Pricing is A$139 per person, with a minimum of 30 guests required to book. The pop-up laneway will run Mondays to Thursdays from 29 May to 15 June.

Back at the hotel 117 Dining will be offering a similar Vivid inspired menu, served in the restaurant on selected evenings. After dessert, guests are invited to the Supper Club for an exclusive Neon Highball cocktail – with Japanese sake, honeydew melon liquor, salted caramel syrup and cold-pressed pineapple juice.
