Part of the Mamanuca Islands group, Vomo is a privately owned property set on 225 acres, just a 15-minute helicopter ride from Nadi International Airport.

 

Walking distance to

Vomo is a private island with no other resorts or villages, so all amenities are provided by the resort. Guests can walk around the entire island in about two hours and it is a short hike to the top the top of Mt Vomo, with 360 degree views of the island.

 

Size and style

Vomo Island Resort has 28 villas and private residences. Guests can choose from three villa types; Hillside (65 sqm), Beachfront (65 sqm), Beachfront Retreat (85 sqm) or four private residences; The Royal, The BeacHouse  Vomo Residence  or The Palms. The villas are built in traditional bure style with spacious modern interiors. Every villa offers an extended sun deck with outdoor furniture, separate sleeping, living and dressing areas and a private spa in the bathroom.  The private residences feature a variety of additional amenities, including a pool, media room, outdoor showers and a chef’s kitchen.

This resort is the only family friendly accommodation option on the Mamanuca Islands and is frequented by couples and families.

 

Airport Transfers

The resort can be reached by water or air. Sea transfers to the island depart daily and water taxis operate 24 hours a day, seven days a week.  Guests can also travel by seaplane or helicopter.

 

You need to know this

VOMO Lailai (little Vomo) is a tiny deserted island just to the west of VOMO, where guests can have a private romantic experience complete with a gourmet picnic. A two way radio allows guests to call when they want to return to the main island. The resort also offers a 9-hole golf course, a PADI golf course, volleyball and badminton courts, croquet, petanque and a range of watersports.

The Reef Restaurant: This restaurant has a view of the swimming pool and beaches, serving an al la carte menu three times a day. The lunch and dinner menus change daily incorporating ingredients grown in VOMO’s own herb and vegetable gardens.

Vuda Bar: Vomo’s main bar, serving an international wine and cocktail list in an open-air seating environment.

Rocks Bar: An adults-only bar located on the western tip of the island overlooking the white sand beach and Vomo Lailai in the distance.
