During the 13-night Wandering South Africa tour, you will have the opportunity to venture in to landlocked Eswatini and meet locals in their traditional cultural village. Day 01: Arrive in Johannesburg
You will be met on arrival and transferred to your hotel. The rest of the day is free at your leisure to explore Johannesburg.
Day 02: Johannesburg – Mpumalanga
Travel to Pretoria and see the Nelson Mandela statue. On your way to Mpumalanga you will enjoy stops at Dullstroom and Sabie.
Day 03: Mpumalanga
Enjoy the day exploring natural marvels such as the Three Rondawels, Bourke’s Luck Potholes, God’s Window, and more.
Day 04: Mpumalanga
Spend the morning and afternoon spotting the Big Five on Game Drives in Kruger National Park
Day 05: Mpumalanga – Eswatini
Cross the border in to Eswatini. Interact with locals at Matsamo Cultural Village and watch traditional craftsmen.
Day 06: Eswatini – Zululand
Travel south to Zululand, stopping at markets on the way. After checking in to your hotel the afternoon is free for you to explore.
Day 07: Zululand – Durban
Cruise on Lake St Lucia before travelling to Durban. You will pass traditional Zulu kraals. The afternoon is yours to explore and relax.
Day 08: Durban – Knysna
Fly from King Shaka Airport to Port Elizabeth. You will be met and travel through mountains and forests until you reach Knysna.
Day 09: Knysna
Take a cruise to Featherbed Nature Reserve, then trailer ride to the top of Western Head. Return to your hotel mid-afternoon.
Day 10: Knysna – Oudtshoorn
Continue to Oudtshoorn, stopping to explore an ostrich farm and the limestone caverns of the magnificent Cango Caves.
Day 11: Oudtshoorn – Cape Town
Early morning Meerkat Safari*, then travel to Cape Town, with stops along the way to admire the spectacular views. If it is open you will enjoy a visit at Barrydale Farm School.
Day 12: Cape Town
Enjoy a day at leisure exploring the beautiful area, or take an optional tour*. In the evening you will feast at a wonderful group dinner.
Day 13: Cape Town
Spend the day touring the Cape Peninsula, including Hout Bay (Seal Island Cruise available*), Chapman’s Peak, and Simon’s Town. Visit the Penguin Colony at Boulder’s Beach*.
Day 14: Depart Cape Town
After one last breakfast you will be transferred to the airport for your onwards flight.
