Aman New York, the brand’s second urban property after Aman Tokyo, is a testament to design excellence, housed within Manhattan’s historic Crown Building. This architectural marvel represents a delicate balance of contrasts, seamlessly fusing old and new, East and West, nature and craftsmanship to create an urban sanctuary.
Natural materials like oak, walnut and cinnamon woods blend with metals such as bronze and steel, while Belgian Blue and Chocolate Brown marble complement a masculine palette, softened by yin-inspired furnishings and artwork. The design honours the Crown Building’s rich history as a symbol of America’s Gilded Age, preserving its Neo-Classical exterior and French Renaissance details, ensuring the property pays homage to the city’s enduring dynamism.
