The Datai Langkawi

The Datai Langkawi initiated The Datai Pledge in 2019, a program focused on long-term sustainability and conservation, dedicated to improving the well-being of the environment, wildlife, and the local community. The program tackles waste reduction – achieving carbon-neutral status, and reforestation – saving native species, promotes sustainable fishing and coral regeneration, and partners with NGOs for wildlife conservation and environmental education, including engaging guest activities.

The Datai Pledge tracks the resort’s progress through annual impact reports, highlighting achievements that demonstrate continuous progress in sustainability and community engagement.
