The Hotel Britomart

The Hotel Britomart is New Zealand’s first 5 Green Star-rated hotel. It is designed to embody sustainable luxury, crafted by local artisans down to the smallest details, and constructed as part of a master-planned downtown neighbourhood under one owner. The hotel, boasting 99 guest rooms and five beautiful suites, seamlessly blends a new 10-storey building with a fully refurbished 135-year-old heritage warehouse. The restaurant, ‘kingi’, focuses on premium, sustainable, seasonal seafood and game, with a nose-to-tail approach to minimising food waste.
