Wintjiri Wiru is a world-first, world-class cultural storytelling experience, using 1200 choreographed drones, lasers, and projections to illuminate Uluṟu’s night sky. Guided by the Anangu, the Traditional Owners of Uluru, the three-hour Sunset Dinner unfolds on a custom-built dune-top deck with panoramic views of Uluru and Kata Tjuta. Guests are welcomed with cocktails and canapés infused with native ingredients before dining al fresco as the sun sets. When darkness falls, the story of the Mala people is brought to life in an extraordinary symphony of light, sound, and performance.

Created in partnership with Anangu over three years, Wintjiri Wiru is more than a performance; it is an act of cultural exchange that respects and upholds ancient protocols. The show is narrated in English, Pitjantjatjara, and Yankunytjatjara, with live ceremonial song and music recorded by Anangu elders. Every element—from narration and visuals to choreography and food—has been shaped in collaboration with Anangu cultural leaders, ensuring authenticity and integrity at each step.

Designed for travellers seeking profound engagement, the experience blends cutting-edge technology with millennia-old tradition. Guests encounter Indigenous storytelling at a scale never before attempted, while supporting community employment, training, and long-term revenue sharing. Renowned Indigenous chef Mark Olive has curated the menu, further deepening the connection to culture and Country through cuisine. Awards including Oceania’s Leading Tourist Attraction and recognition at the Skift IDEA Awards affirm its standing as a benchmark in immersive, Indigenous-led luxury tourism.
