Nautilus Resort is pure South Pacific beachfront luxury on Rarotonga’s white-sanded Muri Beach. Just 20 minutes from Rarotonga’s international airport, Nautilus offers water sports of every kind right on your doorstep including free kayaks, stand-up paddle boards and snorkelling equipment. Island adventures and excursions, such as cycle tours and lagoon cruises are also readily available.

Size and Style

The resort consists of 17 Polynesian-inspired one-, two- or three-bedroom villas. Each villa has its own private salt-water plunge pool, air conditioning, bathroom with free-standing bath and rain-shower, kitchenette, entertainment system and furnished patio flowing seamlessly from indoors to outdoors.

Nautilus Resort Restaurant: The award winning Nautilus Resort Restaurant offers Pacific Rim fare with an emphasis on seasonal local, organic ingredients and plenty of fresh fish and seafood.  High-ceilinged and overlooking an infinity pool, the restaurant opens at 7.30am for breakfast, which drifts through to lunch and an inviting all-day menu and then slides effortlessly through Nauti Hour (Happy Hour) and into dinner until late. A casual Beach Bar serves light meals from 11am to 9pm.

Take a guided tour or free walk into the indigenous forest of Rarotonga, or a mountain safari to see the spectacular panoramic vistas. Take a dip in a tropical rock pool and waterfall, and view native wild flowers and fruits. Experience one of nature’s unique happenings, the spectacle of migrating whales from the cooler waters of the Antarctica to the Cook Islands, in mating and calving season (June to October). Alternatively, try game fishing for tuna, marlin, mahi mahi and wahoo, and have the Nautilus chef prepare your catch.
