On Site Dining

The Carlyle Restaurant: With fine food and gracious settings, The Carlyle Restaurant is the perfect venue for an exquisite meal. The restaurant’s mirrored alcoves, a dramatic six foot tall floral arrangement and vintage photographs by Harry Benson complete the intimate country house ambience.
Café Carlyle: The golden age of New York cabaret comes alive each night at Café Carlyle. With an authentic Manhattan backdrop and a soundtrack that is classic cabaret, Café Carlyle is known for headlining incredible talents; including Laura Benanti, Alan Cumming, Judy Collins and Woody Allen, who regularly appears with the Eddy Davis New Orleans jazz band. Seating up to 90 for dinner and a performance, the supper club offers a unique intimate space and is highlighted by music-themed wall murals by Marcel Vertès. As the New York bastion of classic cabaret entertainment, Café Carlyle completes the Manhattan experience.
The Gallery: Inspired by the sultan’s dining room at the Topikapi Palace in Turkey, The Gallery is an exquisite, private retreat for refined dining. Divided into two tiers, it was designed by the legendary decorator Renzo Mongiardino for comfort and elegance. With deep red wallpapers, banquettes made from antique kilims and red-fringed velvet chairs, guests are tempted to linger. The Gallery serves assorted house made Pâtés, traditional tea sandwiches, scones with authentic Devonshire cream and fresh pastries.
Bemelmans Bar: Named in honour of Ludwig Bemelmans, the creator of the classic Madeline children’s books, Bemelmans Bar is a timeless location that continues to attract socialites, politicians, movie stars and moguls with its extensive drink menu and nightly live entertainment. The bar maintains its Art Deco legacy with chocolate-brown leather banquettes, nickel-trimmed black glass tabletops, a dramatic black granite bar and a 24-karat gold leaf-covered ceiling. Guests are charmed by its distinct New York style and the large-scale murals in the hotel bar, the only surviving Bemelmans’ commission open to the public.
