Air New Zealand opens new Brisbane lounge

Air New Zealand has opened its new 771-square-metre lounge at Brisbane International Airport.

Air New Zealand has opened its new 771-square-metre lounge at Brisbane International Airport this week.

The new lounge complements newly reopened Air New Zealand lounges at Sydney International, Auckland International, Auckland Domestic and Invercargill Airports.

The Brisbane lounge has expanded significantly in size, with capacity for nearly 200 guests and views over Brisbane city. It features a café with a self-service food buffet and beverage station; a children’s play area and family space; a business zone; and private shower suites with ensuite bathrooms and Antipodes amenities products.

The tailored seating zones have been decorated in similar tones and fabrics as the Sydney and Auckland lounges. It is the most recent project of a four-year upgrade programme for the airline’s lounge network by award-winning US design firm, Gensler.

The lounge is located on the airport’s upper level next to Gate 81. airnewzealand.com.au
