COMO Hotels & Resorts has announced an exciting series of bespoke retreats and residencies for 2024 under the umbrella of ‘COMO Journeys’. These curated experiences offer guests unique opportunities for personal growth, adventure, and wellness across some of the world’s most stunning locations.

One highlight is a boxing retreat hosted at COMO Uma Canggu in Bali. Professional boxers Darren Barker and Ryan Pickard will lead this retreat, scheduled for October. Guests can take part in an intensive training program designed to challenge body and mind, set against the beautiful backdrop of Bali’s south coast. For younger guests, a special “Little Boxers Camp” will focus on building confidence and discipline through the sport.

In the Maldives, guests at COMO Maalifushi can enhance their padel skills with coaching from the esteemed Rafa Nadal Academy. The retreat, running from 20 to 26 October, is tailored for both beginners and experienced players. It offers a mix of professional coaching and relaxation in a breathtaking island setting.

Another standout experience is the Himalayan photography retreat at COMO Uma Paro in Bhutan, running from 30 October to 9 November. Led by acclaimed photographer Michael Turek and Leica specialist Peter Dooling, this retreat invites guests to explore Bhutan’s remote regions, capturing the natural beauty and cultural heritage of the Himalayan kingdom. Participants will slow down to connect with nature and local communities, resulting in meaningful and intimate visual stories.

NASA astronauts will lead a space camp at COMO Maalifushi and COMO Cocoa Island in the Maldives. For those seeking a more spiritual journey, COMO Metropolitan London will host a yoga retreat in October. This retreat aims to deepen participants’ practice in a serene and luxurious urban setting, providing a perfect balance between relaxation and rejuvenation.

Additional experiences include a Pisco Sour mixology masterclass in the Maldives, guided by award-winning mixologist Luis Figueroa, where guests can learn the art of crafting this classic cocktail. For wildlife enthusiasts, whale shark expeditions in the Maldives will offer the chance to swim alongside these gentle giants, while cultural heritage tours in Bhutan will immerse guests in the rich traditions and crafts of the region.

These new COMO Journeys for 2024 highlight the brand’s dedication to creating transformative, luxurious experiences tailored to a variety of interests for guests wanting to push their physical limits, explore new creative horizons, or simply reconnect with nature.
