Delta One Lounge Opens at LAX

Delta One Lounge LAX – Dining Room

The opening of LAX’s luxurious Delta One Lounge follows the debut of JFK’s in June 2024

Delta Air Lines has unveiled the Delta One Lounge at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), adjacent to the Delta Sky Club in Terminal 3. Seating nearly 200 guests, the new lounge provides a private and exclusive pre-flight experience, directly accessible from the Delta One check-in area.

Claude Roussel, Vice President of Delta Sky Clubs and Lounge Experience, stated, “From JFK to LAX, the opening of this lounge allows us to offer our customers a premium experience from coast to coast.” The new space is inspired by the city of Los Angeles and features luxury finishes, sunset-inspired hues, walnut accents and a shimmering ceiling above the Icon Bar, echoing the Pacific.

Inside, Hollywood glamour is honoured through refined details, such as the lounge’s feature lighting and Art Deco-inspired architecture. Guests can enjoy the landscaped terrace, furnished with Delta’s luxury brand partner Missoni, adding an Italian touch to the space; and artwork from international artists represents Delta’s global destinations, aligning with LAX’s role as a major international hub.

In the lounge guests can dine on a menu that includes crispy duck tacos and pan-roasted salmon, or take their pick from the LAX-exclusive sushi bar. The lounge also offers “Destination Libations,” a unique selection of cocktails inspired by Delta’s global destinations, such as a Mai Tai for Tahiti (PPT) and a gin mix for London (LHR). Desserts and savoury bites are showcased on a central tiered table, and a rotating selection of Bento boxes features delicacies from Delta destinations like Paris, Tokyo and Boston. All food and drink in the lounge is designed for attendant service so guests can sit back and relax.

The wellness room includes eight private relaxation pods equipped with zero-gravity and full-body massage chairs. Special lighting mimics natural circadian rhythms, helping passengers adjust to time zones. The lounge also offers wellness drinks and a rolling wellness cart stocked with spa water and products by Grown Alchemist.

As the largest global airline at LAX, Delta offers nearly 160 peak-day departures to over 60 domestic and international destinations. The opening of LAX’s Delta One Lounge follows the opening of JFK’s Delta One Lounge in June 2024. The JFK location was the first Delta One Lounge in the world.
