From keepsake menus to caviar served in custom-engraved bowls, Emirates is taking its First Class experience to new heights

Emirates has announced a new wave of enhancements to its First Class product, with updated service details, elevated onboard dining and a refreshed check-in experience forming part of the rollout.

Already operating the world’s largest inventory of international First Class seats – more than 26,800 per week, all configured as private suites – Emirates says the changes are designed to finesse the finer details of hospitality.

Onboard, First Class travellers will notice redesigned menus presented as collectable booklets, offering background on Emirates’ wine program and suggested pairings. The airline’s well-known caviar service now arrives in newly commissioned engraved bowls by Robert Welch, while the cheese course is served on slate with upgraded accompaniments, including a wooden honey dipper.

The airline’s dine-on-demand format remains, with à la carte menus available throughout the flight. On select routes, dishes range from gourmet vegan plates to wagyu sliders, lobster rolls and popcorn from the Movie Snacks Menu. Premium chocolates, dates and handmade sweets are offered, with guests invited to take home a selection if desired.

Dom Pérignon continues to be served across all First Class routes, alongside a broad wine list built from Emirates’ cellar of more than six million bottles. Spirits on board include labels such as Glenmorangie Signet, Hennessy Paradis and The Botanist gin.

Amenities include Emirates’ signature Hydra Active moisturising pyjamas, Byredo skincare, and Bulgari amenity kits with new Le Gemme fragrances. On A380 aircraft, First Class travellers also have access to two private Shower Spas featuring Voya organic products, and the Onboard Lounge with a full-service cocktail bar and panoramic tail camera display.

On the ground, Emirates is in the process of refurbishing its First Class check-in area at Dubai International Airport’s Terminal 3. The upgraded space is expected to open in the coming weeks, offering lounge-style seating and personalised check-in desks. The airline also provides complimentary chauffeur drive and lounge access at 43 international airports.

Emirates First Class cabins vary by aircraft. The A380 features 14 suites in a 1-2-1 layout, while the Boeing 777 aircraft offer six enclosed ‘Game Changer’ suites in a 1-1-1 configuration, complete with virtual windows and NASA-inspired zero-gravity recline seats.
