The 474-room property in Sukhumvit marks Fairmont’s debut in Thailand, with seven dining venues, a theatrical supper club and a lobby chandelier made from over 35,000 crystal balls
Fairmont Hotels & Resorts has opened Fairmont Bangkok Sukhumvit, marking the brand’s first property in Thailand. The hotel is now welcoming guests at its Sukhumvit address with 416 guestrooms and 58 suites.
Designed by Thai practice PIA around the concept of a “blooming stage”, the property weaves Thailand’s botanical heritage through its interiors – most dramatically in the lobby chandelier, inspired by the ratchaphruek blossom (Thailand’s national flower), which comprises 4,166 glass pieces and more than 35,000 crystal balls.
“Thailand’s gracious hospitality, rich cultural heritage and deep-rooted appreciation for connection make it a natural home for Fairmont,” says Omer Acar, CEO of Fairmont Hotels & Resorts. “More than just a hotel, this magnificent social epicenter enables locals and global travelers to unite, celebrate and immerse themselves in the spirit of this vivid city.”

Dining
Seven dining venues are rolling out across 2026. Harper’s operates as an all-day North American-French brasserie, while AELA Social Bar transitions from a daytime lounge to the hotel’s primary cocktail destination each evening. CAYA Pool Club draws on Bangkok’s night market culture, serving contemporary Thai street food alongside creative cocktails poolside.
Opening mid-September with its own private entrance on Sukhumvit Soi 18, Wiggle Room is a supper club and cabaret venue combining live music, performances and dining around a dedicated stage. Two rooftop venues on levels 32 and 33 – one blending Italian and Japanese influences, one focused on contemporary Thai cuisine – will follow in December 2026.

Wellness
Fairmont Spa draws on the jasmine flower for its treatment philosophy, while Fairmont Studio offers dedicated spaces for yoga, cardio and strength training. Both sit within Fairmont’s Wellness Without Walls approach, integrating wellbeing across the broader guest experience.
Events and stays
More than 21,500 square feet of flexible event space spans three dedicated floors, including a Signature Grand Ballroom with a 12-metre ceiling. The property also operates a Kids Club, accepts pets up to 30 kilograms, and offers the Fairmont Gold “hotel within a hotel” experience. The building is certified to LEED Gold standards.
“Fairmont Bangkok Sukhumvit is a place shaped by the energy of Bangkok and the spirit of Sukhumvit,” said General Manager Jerome Lobier. “We look forward to welcoming guests with the genuine, heartfelt service that defines Fairmont.”
