Four Seasons Yachts reveals overwater marina experience ahead of 2026 launch

Designed to open directly onto the sea, the innovative marina will offer watersports, wellness, dining and Riviera-inspired lounging across dedicated “Marina Days” in the Mediterranean and Caribbean
As Four Seasons prepares to launch its first yacht, Four Seasons I, in 2026, new details have emerged about one of the vessel’s centrepiece features: a transverse overwater marina designed to place guests directly at sea level.
Spanning both sides of the yacht, the marina introduces a departure from traditional aft-positioned designs. Retractable platforms on the port and starboard sides open up to 676 square metres of space, creating a dedicated zone for water-based activities, relaxation and open-air dining. The concept, which unfolds on specific “Marina Days” during Mediterranean and Caribbean itineraries, is intended to offer direct access to quieter, scenic locations along the coast.

“Our design focuses on creating a seamless connection with the sea, enhancing both aesthetic appeal and functionality,” says Fredrik Johansson, Partner and Executive Director of Tillberg Design of Sweden, the firm behind the marina’s interiors. Inspired by the outdoor terraces of the French Riviera, the space includes a lounge, bar, sea pool and extendable deck that aims to balance style and flexibility.

On non-sailing days when the marina is in use, programming starts early with sunrise yoga and guided meditation, followed by a rotating menu of water-based activities. Guests can choose from kayaks, pedalboards and inflatable waterboards, or explore further afield using electric hydrofoils and water bikes. For those staying close to the yacht, a protected seawater pool built into the floating platform offers a calmer alternative.

“Guests will explore remarkable destinations, beautiful bays and hidden coves while enjoying adventures on kayaks, paddleboards, and superyacht water toys that let them glide effortlessly across the water,” says Tim Littley, Vice President of Itinerary and Planning at Marc-Henry Cruise Holdings, joint owner and operator of Four Seasons Yachts.

Two additional options expand the onboard experience: the Limo Tender and the Beachlander. The Limo Tender offers a slower-paced, customisable outing aboard a 10-metre vessel with private crew and captain. The Beachlander, by contrast, is a high-speed Ribeye designed for more adventurous transfers to beach clubs, snorkel spots and remote coves.

Set to launch in 2026, Four Seasons I will be the first in a planned fleet of vessels from Four Seasons Yachts. The brand has positioned its yacht offering as a blend of private resort and luxury cruise, with an emphasis on tailored design and off-the-beaten-path itineraries.
