Kittawa Lodge partners with The Tasman on Tasmanian journey
A new partnership between The Tasman and Kittawa Lodge is designed for travellers seeking to explore more of Tasmania — from its remote natural beauty to its historic city streets.
Travellers looking to explore Tasmania can book a new itinerary that will take them from the quaint streets of Hobart to the remote, rugged landscapes of King Island. The four-day package is a collaboration between Kittawa Lodge and The Tasman, a Luxury Collection Hotel.
Beginning in Hobart, guests will spend the night in a premium suite at The Tasman, centrally located in the city’s Parliament Square and overlooking the waterfront. The hotel is known for its distinctive suites that pay homage to the building’s heritage and its picturesque surroundings. Guests can sample two cocktails served in Mary Mary, the intimate cocktail bar, and will receive a $300 credit for the signature Italian restaurant, Peppina, headed by chef Massimo Mele. Valet parking, a Peppina pantry breakfast for two, and a complimentary mini bar are also included.
On day two, guests will transfer from Hobart to Launceston, where a three-course lunch curated by chef Craig Will will be served at Stillwater Restaurant. After lunch, it’s on to Launceston Airport for the short journey to King Island and Kittawa Lodge. The 96-acre property features 750 metres of coastline, private valleys, and natural springs.
Guests will spend three nights in a one-bedroom accommodation, which has been designed with architectural details that enhance the connection between indoors and outdoors. Expansive floor-to-ceiling windows look out to the coastline and sand dune setting of this remote part of the world.
All breakfast, lunch, and dinner provisions are included, such as a three-course dinner served by a private cook on two evenings in the lodge. A $250 in-lodge bar credit, car hire in an AWD, and a take-home gift are also included.
Rates for The Tasman x Kittawa Lodge package start from $9,900 for two adults.
