Opening in April 2026, Mana Sanctuary introduces a recovery-first wellness model to Bali, with sleep optimisation, personalised programming and longevity science at its core
A new wellness retreat opening in Bali in April year is positioning sleep and recovery as the foundation of its offering, reflecting broader shifts across the global wellness travel sector. Mana Sanctuary, founded by Janine and Trent Cottle of women’s wellness retreat, Escape Haven, is scheduled to open in April 2026 as a regenerative, longevity-driven retreat for both men and women.
Conceived following the founders’ attendance at the 2025 Global Wellness Summit in Dubai – where sleep science, personalised recovery and longevity dominated discussion – Mana Sanctuary has been designed as a purpose-built, sleep-optimised environment rather than a traditional spa-led resort.

Sleep as the anchor
Unlike many wellness retreats where sleep support is offered as an add-on, Mana places rest at the centre of every ‘guest pathway’. The retreat comprises 13 suites, each designed as a dedicated sleep environment, with material-led interiors, low-tox finishes and mineral-based bathing rituals. Programs are structured around research linking chronic stress and disrupted sleep to burnout and long-term health decline.
Suites incorporate smart sleep technology, including wearables and recovery tracking, alongside nightly wind-down rituals, morning circadian activations and in-room recovery tools such as red-light LED masks, PEMF devices and guided stretching aids.

Personalised, unisex wellness pathways
Mana Sanctuary will offer seven personalised wellness pathways, including Deep Rest, Movement and Vitality, Men’s Mental Fitness, Mindful Focus, Longevity and Lifespan, Ayurveda Detox and Mana Healing. Each guest works one-to-one with a Lifestyle Mentor, with programming tailored to individual goals and recovery needs.
All stays conclude with a customised 21-day plan designed to support behavioural change beyond the retreat, reflecting an emphasis on long-term wellbeing rather than short-term reset.

Science-backed recovery and longevity technology
Facilities include a suite of recovery and performance technologies, such as zero-gravity cognitive recalibration chairs combining sound therapy, vibration and PEMF, compression therapy for inflammation and jetlag, magnesium hydrotherapy pools, red-light therapy and oxygen optimisation tools. Precision diagnostics via wearables are used to inform personalised programming.
One signature experience is a German-engineered cognitive recovery chair, developed over seven years, designed to support neurological rest through neurosensory soundscapes and zero-gravity positioning.

Small-scale by design
With a maximum of 16 guests at any one time, Mana Sanctuary is intentionally limited in scale, prioritising privacy and high-touch care. Minimum stays begin at six nights, with extended 12- and 18-night pathways available, aligning with global trends toward longer, more intentional wellness travel.
Mana Sanctuary opens in Bali in April 2026.
