Mondrian Gold Coast – Bed Ocean Sunrise Lounge
Mondrian Gold Coast will deliver 208 expansive rooms, new dining venues, wellness facilities, and event spaces just steps from Burleigh Beach when it opens in June
The Gold Coast will soon welcome a new addition to its luxury hotel scene with the opening of Mondrian Gold Coast this June. Positioned a short walk from Burleigh Beach, the new-build property will be the first Australian location for the Mondrian brand, known internationally for combining contemporary design with lifestyle-focused luxury.

Rooms
The hotel will offer 208 rooms across multiple categories, including Studios, Suites, private Homes, and Beach Houses – each with views of the Pacific Ocean, Burleigh headland, or the hinterland. Studios are designed to be approximately twice the size of the average Australian hotel room, while Suites and Homes feature open-plan living and dining areas, full kitchens, laundry facilities and ensuite bedrooms.
In a first in Australia’s lifestyle luxury hotel scene, the two- and three-bedroom Beach Houses are set across two floors and feature a plunge pool and terrace with beach access from the esplanade, along with a full kitchen, living area, dining for up to twelve people, and laundry amenities. The Beach Houses can also be combined to create a five-bedroom Beach House, ideal for families and larger groups.

The 24th-floor Sky House, meanwhile, will include three king-sized bedrooms with ensuites, stylish entertainment spaces, a private chef’s kitchen, a mixologist-ready bar, powder room, an ocean-facing terrace, and views stretching from South Stradbroke Island to Burleigh Headland, all through five-metre-high windows. In another luxurious flourish, each bathroom features cult-status Santal 33 amenities by luxury apothecary brand Le Labo.
The property’s residential-inspired interiors have been designed to reflect Burleigh’s relaxed coastal character, with a textured aesthetic that incorporates natural materials, muted tones and layered finishes. Public spaces and guest rooms have been curated to create a luxurious home-like atmosphere, blending contemporary styling with references to the surrounding environment.

Dining & Facilities
Dining venues include LiTO, an all-day Italian restaurant and lobby bar, and Haven, a third-floor seafood restaurant and pool club overlooking Burleigh’s coastline. Both venues will feature seasonal menus, curated drinks lists, and regular live entertainment programming.
Mondrian Gold Coast will dedicate an entire floor to wellness and fitness, with CIEL Spa offering a full program of research-driven bio-wellness treatments alongside performance-based restorative therapies, and classic, restorative spa treatments. A 24-hour fitness centre and a 25-metre magnesium pool round out the hotel’s spa facilities.

Nodding to the Mondrian brand’s commitment to culture and community, the property will host a program of events, music performances and collaborations with local artists throughout the year.
Bookings are now open for stays from June, with rates starting from $749 per night for a Studio King.
