With Ponant Yachting, the French cruise company has introduced a new brand bringing its existing and upcoming catamarans under one banner – offering private, design-led voyages across the Mediterranean, Caribbean and French Polynesia
Ponant Explorations Group has expanded its portfolio with Ponant Yachting, a new brand uniting its current sailing catamarans and future additions within a single division. The move strengthens Ponant’s position in the luxury sailing sector, extending its small-ship expertise into the realm of fully private charters.
The Ponant Yachting collection currently includes Spirit of Ponant and La Désirade, with a third vessel, Spirit of Ponant II, joining the fleet in 2026. Each yacht carries between nine and twelve guests and is operated by a four-person crew – captain, first mate, chef and hostess. Voyages are all-inclusive and tailored, featuring refined dining and water activities such as snorkelling, stand-up paddleboarding, wing foiling, Sublue diving and Tiwal sailing.

Built in France, the catamarans showcase contemporary French design and generous living space. The forthcoming Spirit of Ponant II, from Lagoon’s new EIGHTY 2 series, will measure 24.97 metres in length and 11 metres in width, with five double staterooms and 427 square metres of interior and exterior space. Full private charters start from €64,000, excluding flights and variable costs.
Developed in collaboration with Lagoon Catamarans, the Bénéteau Group and Sailoé, the Ponant Yachting fleet sails in the Mediterranean, Seychelles, Caribbean and French Polynesia – regions chosen for their calm waters and access to smaller anchorages beyond the reach of larger ships. Spirit of Ponant II will make her debut in French Polynesia.
