The world’s eighth Ritz-Carlton Reserve will open in Abu Dhabi

The new luxury retreat will feature private villas and expansive waterfront views to create a premier UAE destination for luxury and natural beauty

Marriott International and Eagle Hills have announced the opening of the first Ritz-Carlton Reserve in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). Slated to open in 2029 on Ramhan Island, Abu Dhabi, the property promises a secluded, luxurious escape, offering expansive views across the Arabian Gulf’s azure waters.

He added that the new property would enhance Marriott’s portfolio in the country, which is witnessing a strong demand for luxury experiences.

The 4 million square metre development will feature a fully integrated waterfront community with charming residential villas, marina residences, and luxury hotels. The island will be connected through a network of waterways, with state-of-the-art amenities for residents and tourists alike.

The Ritz-Carlton Reserve will be a private retreat on a secluded part of Ramhan Island. It will have 50 private one-to-four-bedroom luxury villas, including the region’s first floating villas with unobstructed waterfront views. Guests can expect lavish leisure amenities and multiple culinary venues.

With its scenic bays and beautiful mangrove trees, the must-visit destination’s master plan includes a world-class marina, high-end shopping, exquisite dining experiences, and a tranquil wellness centre amid serene surroundings and open bay views.
