The brand’s third superyacht introduces expanded dining, design and wellness experiences at sea
The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection has revealed new details of Luminara, the fleet’s third superyacht, set to embark on its maiden voyage on 3 July 2025. Departing from Monte Carlo and sailing to Rome, Luminara will introduce new itineraries and elevated onboard experiences as the brand continues its expansion across global waters.
Designed to accommodate up to 452 guests across 226 suites, each with a private ocean-view terrace, Luminara builds on the design language established by its sister yachts, Evrima and Ilma. Public spaces have been crafted by Toronto-based Chapi Design Luxury, while suites were appointed by AD Associates with lighting by DPA. Interiors feature a palette of walnut, Arabescato Corchia marble, soft oceanic tones, bronze accents, and subtle ruby highlights.

Dining aboard Luminara will include five venues, with new culinary collaborations enhancing the offer. Seta su Luminara, created with Chef Fabio Trabocchi, will serve a seasonal à la carte menu and an eight-course tasting menu, inspired by Venice’s spice routes. Azur on Luminara presents regional cuisine highlighting local ingredients, while Haesu Bit introduces a pan-Asian concept. Mistral will offer Mediterranean coastal fare, and Beach House will provide relaxed, family-friendly options.
Amenities include an expansive Marina and Marina Terrace, a Marina Beach with sun loungers, and a central pool suspended above the sea. The onboard Ritz-Carlton Spa will feature treatments by ESPA, 111SKIN, and Pisterzi, spread across 11 rooms, with programs inspired by upcoming Asia-Pacific voyages.

A new retail experience will debut with Cartier, IWC Schaffhausen, and Piaget on board – marking their first appearance within the Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection.
“As we prepare for Luminara’s debut, we are proud to unveil design and service elements that continue to elevate discovery at sea,” said Ernesto Fara, President and CEO of The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection. “Each detail reflects our vision for relaxed, ultra-luxury yachting.”
Luminara will join the existing fleet of Evrima and Ilma, continuing the brand’s expansion across Europe, the Caribbean, and new destinations in Asia and beyond.
