Set across four levels in a restored heritage building, The Pillars combines private workspaces, wellness facilities and members-only dining in the heart of Sydney

A new members club designed for business leaders and creative professionals has opened its doors in Sydney. The Pillars, located at 11 Barrack Street, spans four floors of a heritage-listed building and brings together co-working spaces, wellness, hospitality and curated cultural programming.

Developed by a group of six entrepreneurs and investors – including Bradley Delamare (Tank Stream Labs), Steve Grace (The Nudge Group), and Emma Blomfield (EB Design Studio) – the club positions itself as a modern, purpose-built alternative to traditional city clubs.

“We’ve created The Pillars as a space that not only reflects the changing nature of work, but also acknowledges the importance of connection, creativity and wellbeing,” said co-founder Bradley Delamare. “It’s a club for people who are building, leading or investing in the next wave of ideas.”

The club includes a members’ lounge and library, private meeting rooms, flexible workspaces and a dedicated wellness floor offering Pilates, yoga, sauna and recovery sessions. Eleven Barrack, the club’s dining venue, is led by Brent Savage of The Bentley Group. Members receive a $5,000 annual dining credit as part of their membership and can access a weekly program of events, talks and experiences.

“The Pillars is designed as a place that supports the whole person, not just the business function they serve,” said Steve Grace. “We wanted to build something that reflects how people really live and work today.”

Art and design are also central to the experience. Curated by co-founder Emma Blomfield, interiors blend original architectural elements with contemporary finishes. Artworks from Louise Olsen, Andy Warhol, Tracey Emin and others feature throughout the space.

Memberships are capped and available by expression of interest, with reciprocal access to over 50 international clubs and a program tailored to support female founders and leaders in technology, venture and design.

The Pillars is open Monday to Saturday, with additional programming – including family-friendly offerings – planned for later this year.
