Look & Feel

ABOUT THE HOTEL

If Grace Kelly and Cary Grant were to continue their drive up the winding mountain roads inland from Cannes in To Catch a Thief, at the highest point just past the village of Vence, they would come to 14 hectares of perfectly maintained grounds, containing the Chateau Saint-Martin & Spa, an 80 year old edifice built of the site of the commanderie of the Knights Templar.

THE SUITE EXPERIENCE

Our accommodation was in one of six villas 100 meters from the main hotel building. With two bedrooms, each with full dressing room and lavish bathroom, the villa is split-level, so all rooms have balconies with views over the Maritime Alps to the distant Mediterranean.

Eat In

DINING

Chef Yannick Franques is a revelation, whose food should be on every gastronome’s itinerary in the South of France. The two Michelin starred signature restaurant Le Saint-Martin is flawless in its inventive twists on French delicacies. And in the summer months L’Oliveraie serves grills serves lunch outdoors between the olive grove and the picture-perfect swimming pool.

Treat Yourself

SPA

An official La Prairie Spa combining anti-aging cell technology therapies with beauty treatments.

IF YOU’D LIKE TO UPGRADE

Three-bedroom villas are also available for €1,540 to €3,150 (about A$1,925-3,937) per night, depending on the season.
