Sail in Luxury Along the Rugged Coast of Oman

Six Senses Zighy Bay has just launched a three-day sailing adventure on a beautifully restored dhow vessel. Named Dhahab, meaning golden in Arabic, the boat can be privately hired for up to six guests.

Departing from the Six Senses resort at Oman’s Zighy Bay, the boat will explore the northern Musandam Peninsula, with its towering, precipitous Hajar Mountains and the many small fishing villages, coming to rest in secluded bays in the evenings. Activities include kayaking or swimming in the opal blue waters, cooking classes with the on-board chef, fishing and diving. Guests are also welcome to simply relax, either on the boat or on the various beaches.

The Dhahab has three well-appointed cabins (one King and two Twins), air conditioned saloon, sun decks, dining areas, a cinema and a large open galley. The crew includes a butler in addition to a personal chef, and a spa therapist who is available on request.

The three-day cruise makes a beautiful add-on to a stay at the Six Senses Zighy Bay, a luxury Six Senses resort set on a remote beach along the rugged Musandam Peninsula.

The three-day, two-night itinerary is priced at USD$22,000 (about A$29,700) and includes all meals and non-alcoholic beverages.
