Guests travelling aboard Silversea cruises worldwide can now add on a series of land programs, pre- and post-cruise, ranging in length from five to 11 days. The nine experiences available in 2018 include jet charters to and from Antarctica, hot air balloon rides across the Namibian desert and vintage rail journey rides in India. Limited to small groups only, the programs include most meals, beverages and exclusive culinary events. Accommodation is provided at luxury boutique hotels, lodges and tented camps.
Rates range from A$18,000 per person (for a five-day journey through Tibet) to to A$105,000 per person for the full 11-day Antarctica experience, which includes a visit to the South Pole.
