The hospitality group Ennismore has announced that Hyde Perth will open in the WA capital in 2024, the first for the Hyde Hotels brand in Australia.
The 120-key hotel will be located on Pier Street in the heart of the CBD, bringing a bohemian-luxe design, international culinary concept, and a lively ambience to the city. An outdoor pool area with tropical greenery, a contemporary restaurant, and a cocktail bar will be among the guest amenities, while in the lobby, an array of seating and long tables will encourage guest interaction, in keeping with Hyde Hotels’ fun and sociable ethos.
The Hyde brand, founded as a lounge on Los Angeles’ Sunset Strip in 2005, is known for a focus on music and nightlife in its guest experience, with properties in glitzy, energetic cities such as Miami, Dubai, and Ibiza. Hyde Perth will continue this legacy with a curated program of music and live performances.
Gaurav Bhushan, CO-CEO of Ennismore, said: “We are excited to collaborate with Ark Capital Partners to create a hotel grounded in the spirit of freedom and discovery, where anything is possible. We believe Hyde is an ideal cultural fit for Perth, where it can serve as a cultural touchpoint for locals and international travellers.”
In addition to Hyde Perth, hotels are currently planned for Queenstown, London City, and Bodrum. Ennismore Group ‘s 17 lifestyle brands are expanding globally, with 2023 openings including SO/ Uptown Dubai, The Hoxton, Charlottenburg, in Germany and Mondrian Ibiza, Spain.
