The new Mediterranean lifestyle hotel offers wellness and recreational activities near Tossa de Mar
Meliá Hotels International’s ZEL Costa Brava has opened its doors near Tossa de Mar. The hotel aims to provide an immersive Mediterranean experience focusing on wellness and recreation.
Positioned as an oasis for those seeking both relaxation and active pursuits, ZEL Costa Brava is 33 km from Girona-Costa Brava International Airport and 109 km from Barcelona, making it easily accessible for international travellers. Each of its 214 rooms and suites offers views of the sea, mountains, or gardens.
The hotel offers a range of wellness experiences designed to rejuvenate guests. It features a spa with a heated swimming pool, a sun terrace with sea views, a steam room, treatment rooms, a sauna and a state-of-the-art gym.
Guests can also take part in up to 46 sports, including tennis, soccer-tennis, basketball, hockey, table tennis, beach volleyball, and water polo. Nature sports such as Nordic walking, running, cycling, and trekking are also available, along with CrossFit, yoga, Pilates, dance, and jiu-jitsu. Water sports enthusiasts can enjoy the semi-Olympic pool or explore the sea.
The ZEL Club organises weekly activities, including swimming circuits, group running sessions, painting, creative cooking classes, and social events like “verbenas.” These activities are designed to foster a sense of community among guests and enhance their overall experience.
The hotel also boasts several dining options. The Beach Club in Cala Giverola serves Mediterranean cuisine, while the lobby bar and food truck offer casual dining experiences. A large meeting room, which can be divided into three smaller rooms, is available for events and team-building activities.
