About the hotel
Located on Kowloon’s spectacular waterfront, InterContinental Hong Kong is perhaps most famous for its views of Victoria Harbour and the Hong Kong skyline. The hotel provides 503 guestrooms, including 87 harbour side suites. Guests will find Kowloon’s business, entertainment and shopping districts conveniently close by. The Star Ferry, a scenic yet surprisingly efficient travel option for those wishing to visit Hong Kong Island, is also a short stroll away.
Look & Feel
The hotel has become well known for its skyline views. One of the best spots to take in the vista is the hotel’s Pool Terrace, with one of Hong Kong’s largest outdoor swimming pools. The terrace also holds the smaller, more intimate three-temperature infinity pool. The Presidential Suite is the largest in Hong Kong with five bedrooms. The luxurious duplex features spacious bedroom and bathroom facilities, 10 seater dining or meeting room, separate study, large terrace with infinity pool and Jacuzzi, private gym and 24-hour butler service. The master bedroom has its own steam room and sauna. The neighbouring suites on both levels can also be locked off to increase bed count – handy for larger groups or families. The hotel’s two single story signature suites – Terrace Suite and CEO Suite – also feature their own large private terrace and Jacuzzi.
The hotel is home to four internationally acclaimed dining haunts, including the two Michelin star Spoon by Alain Ducasse, one Michelin star Yan Toh Heen and The Steak House Winebar + Grill, and world-renowned chef Nobu Matsuhisa’s NOBU InterContinental Hong Kong. Each restaurant is immaculately designed, with a staff willing to go above and beyond. For a more casual eat, the hotel’s Harbourside restaurant offers all-day dining with extensive Western and Asian menu options.
The InterContinental I-Spa offers a range of face and body treatments for travellers in need of a little pampering. In addition to its single guest rooms, the spa has five granite-clad private suites, each with its own sauna, Jacuzzi, steam shower and massage facilities. If the private rooms appeal, be sure to book in advance if you can, as spots tend to fill up.
If you’re an early riser, don’t miss the morning tai chi and yoga classes on the Pool Terrace – a truly refreshing way to start your day in this bustling city.
