Xaynor and Elanan are envisioned luxury resort oases in NEOM’s Gulf of Aqaba region in Saudi Arabi

Saudi Arabia’s groundbreaking NEOM development will include a private beachfront members club and a wellness retreat, NEOM’s Board of Directors has announced. The members club, named Xaynor, will be nestled amid the rocky coastline of the Gulf of Aqaba and is one of the latest addition to the regional development of northwest Saudi Arabia. The project is aimed at developing sustainable tourism for the future.

Xaynor

The architectural design of Xaynor will collaborate with nature by blending into the surrounding environment. Guests can expect to be greeted with a canopy entrance that provides a pathway down to the beach. Spaces include private pools, beachside lounges, gourmet dining, an entertainment venue and a spa and wellness centre. Boutique shopping is planned for the club as are exclusive member-only experiences. Some of these may include personalised collaborations with internationally renowned brand partners in fashion, art and lifestyle.

Elanan

Elanan, meanwhile, will be a ‘unique wellness retreat‘ and is designed to feature lush vegetation while seamlessly integrating modern designs and technologies throughout the property. The lush oases on the premise are fed by ancient natural springs. Guests to Elanan can expect to explore large plazas, specialty private dining, a sun garden and an observation tower. The resort’s initial design incorporates 80 rooms and suites, a spa and wellness centre, nature walks and meditative trails and high-end boutiques.

Elanan’s wellness approach will add a modern spin on wellness while centring the guest experience around the concepts of tranquility, rest and recharge. The architecture will prioritise a synergy with nature while the rejuvenating journey is expect to start for visitors the moment they arrive on site.

NEOM: a new world

NEOM seeks to redefine livability, business and conservation. The development of NEOM is supported through a 500 billion USD endowment from the Public Investment Fund of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. 95% of NEOM is projected to remain undeveloped, sustaining the local ecology while expanding luxury tourism opportunities for travellers. NEOM expects to welcome its first visitors in 2024 to the luxury island resort of Sindalah, which is best accessed via yacht or super yacht.

This new development follows recent announcements of Leyja, Epicon, Siranna, Utamo, Norlana, Aquellum, and Zardun, which are part of NEOM’s sustainable tourism destinations in the flagship region.
