Qantas has announced a multimillion-dollar refurbishment of its terminal and lounges at Brisbane Airport. A new Business and Chairman’s Lounge will be constructed, along with expansion of the domestic terminal by 30 per cent and a redesign of the current Qantas Club. The existing First and Business lounges in the International Terminal will be altered into one lounge, with the aim to increase the amount of space for passengers to dine and relax in pre-flight. Work is expected to start late 2015, with a staged completion in 2016 and early 2017.
