Seoul announced as the next Aman city

Set in Cheongdam, one of Seoul’s most prestigious precincts, Aman Seoul will be the brand’s first destination in South Korea. The fully integrated property will comprise a hotel, exclusive branded residences and a global Aman Club, all overlooking the Han River in the heart of Gangnam

Aman has announced Aman Seoul as the brand’s debut destination in South Korea. The property, whose opening date has not been announced, will be located in Cheongdam, one of Seoul’s most prestigious precincts, occupying a prime position overlooking the Han River in Gangnam.

Like Aman’s other urban destinations, Aman Seoul will be a fully integrated destination comprising a hotel, a limited collection of branded residences and an exclusive global Aman Club. Dedicated entrances and arrival sequences give each component its own distinct identity and sense of privacy.

The architecture and interiors have been developed in close collaboration with partners and craftspeople rooted in South Korean sensibilities, drawing on Korean spatial traditions and materiality. The result, the brand says, is a minimalist contemporary environment designed to feel calm and grounded while remaining connected to the energy of the city.

Wellbeing sits at the core of the project, with spa and wellness facilities spanning multiple floors. A diverse food and beverage program, including Aman’s own dining concepts, completes the offer, alongside the Aman Club’s dedicated pool, fitness facilities and social spaces, available to residence owners and members.

The branded residences extend the Aman philosophy into permanent homes, with interiors delivered through Aman Interiors, the brand’s in-house furnishings and design arm.

The announcement follows a recently established strategic partnership between Shinsegae Group and OKO Group, the US-based real estate development company founded by Doronin. Aman Seoul joins a growing portfolio of urban destinations that includes Aman Tokyo, Aman New York and Aman Nai Lert Bangkok, with Aman Beverly Hills, Aman Miami Beach, Aman Dubai and Aman Singapore among forthcoming projects.
