Emirates has revealed their new Boeing 777 cabin interiors, including the anticipated new first class suites. The fully-enclosed private suites fitted in a 1-1-1 configuration feature floor-to-ceiling sliding doors and 3.7 square metres of private space. As part of a collaboration with Mercedes Benz, the Suite interiors are influenced by the Benz S-Class, with soft leather seating, mood lighting and high-tech control panels.
Both the business and economy cabins have also been given a refresh. In business class, the new leather seats have a pitch of 183 centimetres, and come with a personal minibar. The economy class seats have adjustable leather headrests, and the inflight entertainment system has been upgraded throughout the aircraft.
The revamped Emirates 777 fleet will enter service on 1 December, making its debut on routes to Geneva and Brussels from Dubai. It is rumoured that the airline’s factory fresh A380 aircraft may feature the new suites, however there are currently no plans to extend the upgrade to their existing A380 aircraft.
