The Ty Warner Mansion is the latest addition to Las Ventanas al Paraíso, a Rosewood resort in Los Cabos, Mexico. The 2,600-square-metre, bed-to-beach mansion has views over the Sea of Cortez and features dual master suites.
The mansion is named for owner Ty Warner, the billionaire toy manufacturer and creator of Beanie Babies. Notable features include a 360-degree garden, a tequila library stocked with rare tequilas, a Hacienda-style chef’s kitchen and 100-metre, glass-bottomed rooftop infinity pool, which stretches over the main bathroom. The pool’s transparent base can be made opaque if desired at the touch of a button.
The property is decorated in bright, hand-woven textiles, fixtures and artworks made by local Mexican artisans. Other highlights for guests include optional private fireworks displays, a dedicated private chef and a cinema room.
Nightly rates start at US$35,000 (about A$45,988) per night.
